Dean R. Fulco 1960-2012 RICHMOND Dean R. Fulco, 51, of 905 Dublin Road, Richmond, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 after a long and valiant struggle with bipolar disorder. Born in Sharon, Conn., on October 11, 1960, the son of Richard Fulco of Pittsfield and Karen Monroe Fulco of Lenox, he attended the former Cranwell School in Lenox until it closed and then transferred to Salisbury School and graduated from Bowdoin College in 1983. Mr. Fulco had owned and operated Fulco Painting for twenty five years. He had previously worked on the Options Exchange on the West Coast. He was a master gardener, a member of the Richmond Board of Health, a beekeeper, an athlete, a scholar and a true outdoors man. Besides his family and friends and creatures large and small, he loved nothing more than a deep conversation, a job well done and sweating in the great outdoors. He battled demons, slew dragons, and charmed many who crossed his path. And in the end, he trusted in us to carry on and enjoy life to it’s fullest. Mr. Fulco leaves his wife, Deb Hoellerich, whom he married October 31, 1992. Besides his wife, his mother, and his father, Mr. Fulco is survived by his twin sisters, Tammy Masiero, and her husband, Matthew, of Richmond, and Wendy Fulco also of Richmond; his stepmother, Marjorie Cohan of Pittsfield; a step sister, Medeia Cohan and her husband Jason Giberti of London; his mother-in-law, Blanche Hoellerich of Cheshire; two sisters-in- law, Judy Fitzgibbons and her husband, Tom, of Marboro, Connecticut and Linda Lohman and her husband, Brad, of Daytona Beach, Florida; as well as nieces and nephews, Jessica Masiero, Luke Masiero, Molly Masiero, and Nick Masiero, John Fitzgibbons and Caitlin Fitzgibbons, and Andrea Ehrlich; and his dog, Beatrix. FUNERAL NOTICE: Memorial services for Dean R. Fulco will be held Saturday, May 5, at Camelot Farm, 74 Main Road, Tyringham, MA 01236. Calling hours will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in the main house, followed by an outside service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Liz Goodman officiating. After the service, there will be a celebration of Dean’s life in the main hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you reach out to someone in need and tell them you care.
